Terms of Use
Last updated: 20 October 2026
These terms cover your use of this website. Use of the Refinery software itself is governed by a separate written agreement, which takes precedence over anything here.
01Who we are
This website is run by Atilade Oke, trading as Refinery, London, United Kingdom (“we”, “us”). Refinery is not yet a registered company. Contact: okeatilade@gmail.com.
02Using this site
You may browse, read and share links to this site. You must not use it in a way that is unlawful, that tries to gain unauthorised access to it or to the systems behind it, that interferes with how it works, or that copies it in bulk by automated means.
03Our content
The text, design, graphics and code on this site belong to us or are used with permission. You may not reproduce them for commercial purposes without our written agreement. Product screens and code shown on this site are illustrative examples, not customer data.
04Other companies’ names and logos
Names and logos of AI tools and other products shown on this site, including Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Gemini, Cursor, IBM and watsonx, are trademarks of their respective owners. They are shown only to say which tools Refinery can check the output of. Refinery is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them.
05Information on this site
This site describes what Refinery does as of the date each page was last updated. It is general information, not legal, regulatory or audit advice, and not an offer. Some statements describe what we plan or expect; plans can change. We work to keep the site accurate, but we do not promise that it is complete, current or free of errors, or that it will always be available.
06Our liability
The site is free to use. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from your use of it or reliance on its content, including indirect loss, loss of profit or loss of data.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded. If you are a consumer, nothing here affects your statutory rights.
07Links to other sites
We link to other sites, such as Cal.com and LinkedIn. We are not responsible for their content or how they handle your data.
08Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they last changed.
09Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute about them. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in the EU, you may also be able to bring a claim where you live.
